RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SHORT FILM MAKING CONTEST

1. Registration is open to all Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans of all ages.

2. Contesting films should be made on the theme of Buddhism, in either English or Mandarin only.

  1. Video must be original and must not have been submitted before for any other purposes.

  1. Video with contents that promote racism, bigotry, hatred or harm of any kind against any group or individual will be disqualified.

  1. Video submitted will become the property of Dharma Drum Singapore.

  1. Contestants shall be responsible for their own expenses, logistics requirement and equipment during the film making.

  1. Dharma Drum Youth Singapore, Dharma Drum Singapore and their members shall not be held responsible for any damage/loss whatsoever during the course of film making.

  1. Dharma Drum Youth Singapore's decision on any matters pertaining to the contest and not covered by the Rules and Regulations stated, is final.

  1. Dharma Drum Singapore and Dharma Drum Youth Singapore reserve the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without prior notice.

  1. Submissions that do not meet the criteria for submission will not be eligible. (Please refer to “Criteria for submission” in “About the Short Film Making Contest”.)
